In previous post i have explained how to add your site or blog to Google and Yahoo. Submitting your Blog’s sitemap to these search engines will enable them to index the pages and contents of the site. Today i will explain how to add your site map to MSN , ASK and other Search engines.
How to Create Your Sitemap : Blogger Sitemap
If you are owner of your site than you need to create your sitemap. Some hosting companies provide utilities via their web control panel, to create your sitemap, so firstt check with your provider. If this service is not available, then visit to sitemapspal and enter your site URL into the generator box. Copy-and-paste the resulting sitemap into notepad, then save-and-upload to your site with the file name: sitemapspal.xml in your server.

However blogger users cannot upload sitemap file to server ( root directory ). Hence blogger sitemap looks like these…

Submit Blog Sitemap to MSN
MSN do not support direct submission but you can add your Sitemap into your robots.txt file. For example:
| User-agent: * Sitemap: http://www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml Disallow: /cgi-bin/ |
Modify letter in red with your full url of the sitemap. We do not have root access to the Blogger server and this will not be possible.
Just follow this link to add your blog url.
Other method to submit blog sitemap is avaible at Moreover.com. It seems there was some arrangement for Moreover to provide the submitted feeds to MSN for crawling and indexing.
Copy and paste this line into your browser, replace letter in red with your blog url.

You will get the message containing successful ping of your blog.
